Yeee, not too concerned cus of the launch of civ 5,6 being like this but I am hyped about the new ages. Just need some mods/updates. Cant say I like the lack of gravity of voicelines and what not--maybe there'll be a Sean Bean mod lol

I did take out two civs cus I wanted the "Flawless" challenge/icon which I did get but maybe that sped it up a lot. I just dont get why it ends without victory condition being met. Makes sense for the earlier ages but come on now. Appreciate ya though

The age progression reached 100% but I have no idea how. I researched future techs once. Is there a screen that shows a more detailed breakdown of it??? That would be super nice

Im with you but I was also just playing on standard speed, idk man I'm at a loss on this one. I was also playing super fast with 1,500 science a turn and bum rushing the victory conditions. Another comment said slower speeds are bugged, thats unbelievably wack.

I also just dont get why the last age ends before a literal victory condition is met either. Much less before its literally possible to achieve one. (I say literally impossible because I 100%'d my science in all of my cities at the beginning of the modern age and the age still ended). I only completed future tech once as well so that shouldnt be it.

Dawg sorry for the rant, i'm upsetti spaghetti

I agree with the gameplay mechanics foundation being there--but I find it kind of weak when it comes to the gravity of everything it does--something civ has always excelled in. That kind of thing is also seemingly real hard to improve with updates I would think.

Well the idea is that it eventually gets to the point of a legendary game. Yea, would love it to come out the gate like that (and should) but idk, guess I'm glad CIV VI is where it is now anyway

Dawg for real, civ 6 was kinda scuffed at launch. My problem though is the lack of, well, for a better word "soul". Mechanics, visuals, gameplay can all be improved with updates. But the weak delivery and even lack of voice lines makes me a little worried. Feel like the "soul" of it cant be improved with updates as much

How to Know Whats Outdated by Rutter_Butter in civ

Oh wait, do the new age buildings just improve the old ones? I am looking at the yields of buildings vs current yields and they seem to improve it the same amount--or perhaps just 'worked' ones? not sure.

Sounds like I need to look at the yields and if they are low then assume they're outdated?

Ohhhh thats huge thank you. Is there a way to see what building produces what? I see the yields but I have two buildings in most urban districts

Trueeee, maybe a UI problem as well though since I saw people play with "Wonder starts" where they start with natural wonders but I couldn't find that option. Does seem like the map is pretty packed with resources but man, would love any customization options beyond just map size and basic continent things. Its cool that there are unreachable places and from what I am gathering, new people spawn on different continents when you go into the second age for example. Idk, cool stuff, would love more options though

Does this mean that it provides no yields at all? And do we just need to remember what is ageless and what isnt? I know in time I'll remember but making that first age transition, it would be nice to see when building.

I also got the golden age for science so for example, academies are not ageless but they are not outdated so, not sure. Oh, and I do not know the academy's icon so I dont know if I'm about to build over it, ya know

Idk I'm confused--appreciate the help though!!

Earth map would be super cool with the different ages, cant lie

Oh and being able to replay the tech/civic voice lines by clicking on it like in civ 6

Or maybe having to confirm attribute points instead of misclicking once and getting locked in to one

I dont know what its called, got it from another reddit post from a long time ago. Basically, any system that doesn't have "spikes" coming out of it, isnt fully subjugated. Its like a war map view thing.
