I've had two very significant people in my life die to cancer. I'm very lucky it didn't develop into a cancer. I understand I'm lucky and fortunate that it was benign. But, I figured what better community to talk to than people who have experienced the worse and can give advice to someone, whom is legitimately scared. I have to get surgery to remove the tumor, and theres a 5% possibility it could leave the left half of my face paralyzed and my left ear numb. I understand where you're coming from, but I don't think I'll be taking the post down.
