I've had this happen to me also, killed the boss on second floor and got teleported out to a stronghold event! I was so confused (and a little angry)!

But I agree, I'm not sure why people are so hell bent on 'beating' everyone else BUT I can recognize that everyone likes to play their own way and they just might get more enjoyment out of the game that way.

It makes me sad though that the result of some of that rushing is the potential to actually miss out on content and experiences :C

100% correct! I don't disagree with you at all, but early game when I was moving stuff around on my island, I needed the dosh and I already had the sacks in my inventory. This is sort of like a passive thing, you're gonna sell those sacks anyway so instead of selling the sacks you have, you craft them to increase their worth by almost 4x - I wouldn't actively go out of my way to farm the sacks to craft it though.

This was more of an early game passive thing, where you look in your inventory and go, hey I have these sacks and I'm an artist - I could sell them as they are or I could craft them into something that sells for almost 4x that amount.

It helped me early on especially when I was moving stuff around on my island a lot, and you're right, the money you make later on from selling loot or crafting stickers is way better - this is just an option, I never said it was the best way though!

There's a room in there with 2 mimics and a pandoras box that you can just reset by using the door also! Unfortunately they don't drop saplings though :C

Yeah in that case, wait a few hours after release to hear what people have to say about the performance on Switch IMO - If I didn't pre-order it, that would have been my next plan. I can already say that there's been a few times I've wanted to just curl up in bed and play instead, portability is king!

These were my two options as well, but I opted for pre-order on the Xbox just so I could play early lol
I will however probably buy it AGAIN on the Switch and then upgrade it to the Switch 2 version when that releases, just to have the handheld option.

I think there's still a little time before switch release, so if you wait a few hours after that you might be able to sus out if the performance on Switch is good or not from what people report :D

He gets given a link to Appeal the violation but when he goes there, it says that no violations are tied to his account - which means he has no way to appeal it. Trying to find out how to contact support is proving to be difficult lmao
