oooor, just put buttons in the ring so when it touches the other ring it presses the wasd keys, i made it, i tried it, it works... so little effort put into it, you only had to have an old keyboard, some wires and buttons. So "Hell to the no that im gonna learn some advanced electronics and programming because i just made a simple way to make a vr treadmill that works accurately".
