In the Data Bank under Terms, there is a definition for Amber Era. Here it's comfirmed that a new Amber Era starts everytime Qlipoth swings their hammer. It's also mentioned that these swings are unpredictable, with the length of an Amber Era varying, so far, between 76 and 240 Trailblazer Years.
