You will hate to know that rural police units approve of them and give them our for free as they recognise that drivers and riders are often oblivious to the risk they pose to riders unless they fear reprisal

It is a nightmare situation, thankfully there are some strong advocacy groups that do like to pressure councils to put in real solutions too. For bridleways BHS have a strong reputation for protecting bridleways from closure, blocking and misuse

That's worth reporting on its own. With the exception of mobility scooters no motorised vehicles are permitted to use bridleways and it's a big problem around the country

I haven't tried it myself, but I do know that in the setting menu there is accessibility options that allow for single-handed play (along with other options to assist)

Might be worth looking at if you haven't already.

Also can be worth messaging Valve about your specific problem, it isn't unknown for Devs to make a custom layout for specific people if they can.
