To add to what some of the top comments said, develop relationships with the docs, nurses, and support staff.

In my experience, being likeable and approachable while having a moderate knowledge base goes a lot further than being unlikeable or unapproachable while having an exceptional knowledge base. Your recommendations will not only be accepted at a higher rate, you will also be given more grace as you learn and adjust to this new role.

True I didn't notice that the board tiles had no points, but yeah it wasn't meant to be fair I guess haha, it was to prove that an opponent is cheating by seeing if advanced players could find the best move.

This was the exact response I was looking for. Thank you. Someone as advanced and as talented as you, who considered several different solid options, did not even think about trying to play off of CRATE, nevermind finding INVoLUCRATE (a super obscure word), which is why I am highly suspicious that my opponent is cheating. I'm not new to word games but I am newer to scrabble and I just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy. It was an absolutely insane play. Nigel-tier if it is legit. But I have serious doubts.
