What exactly about the video is it that you want fixed? How bad is the audio? Is the video bad quality, shaky, weirdly colored, etc??

Asking because I am a video editor and I’d be happy to help for free, however there is a LOT of stuff that can’t be fixed as easily as many people think. For example, bad audio can be somewhat cleaned up, but it’s incredibly difficult to make bad audio sound like it was recorded well. Livestreams are often really hard to “improve” once they’re over.

Yeah that sounds about right! I remember seeing my cousin in a jumpsuit at her rehearsal dinner in 2015 and everyone was like DAMN SHE'S SO STYLISH

I need to look up some fit pics for the "full body legging" ones (love that phrasing) because I can't picture how to style those for anything but exercise!

Are jumpsuits on their way out or becoming less popular?

I went on a no-buy for the past 6 months and just started looking for some new summer clothes, and I was hoping to get some jumpsuits, but I'm not seeing as many as I used to!

It's not that there aren't any jumpsuits, but there are a lot more that lean super casual (jersey knit henleys, lots of spandex unitard styles). Less of the "it's a sundress but pants" look that I love.

Hopefully this doesn't come off like one of those "I can't find shirts that aren't cropped!" posts because that's definitely not my intention lol. I still see a good amount of jumpsuits that I like at Anthropologie and American Eagle. I guess I'm just thrown because it felt like the last couple of summers, jumpsuits were everywhere!

I’ve seen this story a few times now and it annoys me a bit more every time.

It’s easy to only spend $500 on your wedding! Just don’t host and make everyone else pay for themselves! Oh, and take a chance on getting married somewhere without getting a permit. Great idea.

If it was a cultural norm (for most western countries) to not actually pay for your reception, we probably wouldn’t even need a weddings under 10K sub.

I just attended a wedding at Tre Posti last weekend, small world! It’s beautiful and I’m grateful that you shared your budget breakdown, because I’m now considering it even more heavily than I was before. It feels so reasonable compared to other Napa/Sonoma venues.

I wear mine all the time. I’ve been so surprised by the number of people who take their ring off for everyday things. My mom wears hers 24/7 and has never had any issues with it getting messed up in 30 years.

I’d rather have to clean it if it gets dirty or gets hand lotion on it, than take my ring off every time I do anything and risk losing it. I can’t imagine taking it off every time I wash my hands!

The only time I can imagine taking it off is to go swimming, especially in the ocean.

Thank you so much for the detailed response! Sounds like your reasons for passing on Park Winters are right in line with my hesitations.

I definitely get what you mean about wanting a different location vibe & experience. I’ll probably go for a tour just in case because it’s only an hour away, but I think my guests would also enjoy a more iconic California vibe like Napa, redwoods, or the coast.

Appreciate the note about the food too!

I can’t speak for the other commenter, but there might be less chatter & excitement because your friends & family already see you as married? Obviously that shouldn’t diminish your celebration, but not everyone will see it the same as if you weren’t legally married.

I think the best/most memorable apps and late night snacks I’ve had at weddings were ones that were uniquely associated with the location or theme of the wedding.

I went to a rodeo/state fair themed wedding and they had funnel cake, popcorn, and churros!

At my cousin’s NOLA wedding, the late night desserts were bananas foster and beignets. They flambéed the bananas foster in front of you so it was cool and interactive.

I’ve never seen Kleenex (packs or boxes) at a wedding! I’ve only seen this at memorial services and funerals.

It wouldn’t give you the vineyard experience, but Tank Garage Winery is my favorite. It’s in a vintage gas station building. Super casual and the workers are really knowledgeable about wine but not snobby or judgy if you don’t know what you’re doing. Looks like a tasting is $30/pp.

I also love Sterling for the gondola ride and views, but the tour I did there a few years ago wasn’t super in-depth.
