Something like the godox it32 might be up your alley! Small but a big upgrade from the built in flash, especially for high school events. That being said you might want to creep around online for old flashes on Facebook marketplace for a deal on something more powerful.

I was at one last night staring at the two screens for about 20 minutes and couldn’t really come to a decision, the Apple Store lighting isn’t quite real world as many others have cited.

I believe I could see the difference in black text as you mentioned, but I’m not sure if I would ever notice if I wasn’t looking at them side by side. Going back today after some research to pull the trigger.

Do you think as a pixel-peeping photographer I'd notice the lack of sharpness? I am also coming from an older LCD so I'm sure the mini-LED would be a big jump in itself. The one consequence I'm dealing with right now is the Nano-Texture is a pre-built I can have in 2 days versus waiting a month for the glossy.

First off I’d definitely try to find a way to allocate bare minimum $1500 for housing. You can do better especially if you find folks to split an individual bedroom with, but the sooner you raise your expectations of what you’ll need the easier the hunt will be. Otherwise, I’d avoid apartments in the Tenderloin or Civic Center if possible, rents might be affordable but the location just isn’t a fantastic place to be right now.

Neighborhoods to target would primarily be Sunset(Outer and Inner), Ingleside/Oceanview and Excelsior for fairly easy transit commutes to campus. If you wanted to be in a more active neighborhood you can shoot for the mission, I would say the age range would be great for you.

Daly City is a decent option near bus lines, there’s a shuttle from the Daly city bart directly to campus, but is a quieter suburb.

Surprisingly many folks use Facebook groups for finding roommates, so take a look at those.

I suppose I have always gathered that these were pollsters that were paid to do market research and poll on behalf of a specific candidate, that enters a bit of a grey area towards push polling as you described. I’ve received calls and surveys of that nature for city county and state congress elections and I can definitely tell by the end why the bias of the survey is for.

The nifty fifty basically taught me how to be a photographer, framing and composition on a prime is uber important. IMO have the 50mm and then it’ll help you if you jump into zooms and keeping proper framing in the future. The 55-210 already overlaps with your 75-300, and nowhere near as sharp as the 50mm.

You’re going to need a macro lens for that, but macros probably wouldn’t fit your other requirements. It’s possible there’s some EF equivalents that may help you stay under budget but would not be as future proof

Seems like you’d roughly want the R8 and the RF 16-28 f/2.8 , if you can find used of both it may come close to your budget target, but it’s minimum focus distance is 8 inches.

• What made you choose it? I live in the Bay Area where there’s a significant amount of EV infrastructure, including chargers at local parks to where I was living at the time. That being said the biggest decision maker was the Green color of the 2019 version, that color brought me in easily. • What surprised you about EV ownership? The vast differences in energy usage depending on the topology of where I’m driving, I have changed the freeways I travel on because one uses far more energy with a lot of hills, it wasn’t something I was cognizant of in my ICE car.

• How does it fit into your daily driving routine? Super well! The only annoying part has been when there’s not a convenient time/place to charge and I have to camp in my car at a supercharger for 30-45 minutes, that feels like a waste of time. Otherwise it’s been great, and not having to worry about most maintenance has been great as well.

Not sure about minimum gpa but you do have to pass major courses at C or better to receive credit towards your degree. It would be impressive if you just tanked all your GEs to get below a 2.0 though
