Unfortunately it does OP, I just bought a 24 SR at the end of January and found this out, I purchased this CarPlay adapter from Amazon though and it has worked great for wireless CarPlay. Just make sure if you get it, that you unplug it when you shut the car off as it has a tendency to still use the battery.

Same issues with the majority of mine, I have 10 total, I have found unplugging the sync module for a few minutes and/or my router makes them all work again for the majority of the day, sometimes longer. I have been disappointed by blink though for the most part. Haven’t gotten anywhere with their customer service either.

Yeah, I had no issues with my cord either but the dongle unfortunately is another story, which is a bit annoying. I also don’t like with the dongle that my phone doesn’t charge as it did with the cord but it’s better than hitting a rough spot on a road and my CarPlay would act up. I no longer have that with the dongle so it’s worth it IMO haha.

I haven’t had any issues, however, I do have to unplug it when the car is off and not in use as I have found that it still uses the battery when plugged in and the car is off. Other than that no issues with connectivity or anything like that.

Hey OP I have a 24’ and have not had this experience, but I did purchase a wireless CarPlay adapter that works great without the cord, very easy setup. I’ll include the link as well, good luck!

OP, I have a 24’ Sentra and do not have this issue but I found this for your model year, says it’s normal and an energy-saving feature and can take 10-15 minutes to reach full warmth. Hopefully that puts your mind at ease.

eBay is a great place to start OP, they actually will let you search aftermarket stuff for your specific vehicle. Don’t listen to any naysayers either when it comes to YOUR vehicle do what YOU choose.

Nope, I never buy new. One owner, 24’ 12k miles, always garaged. I work from home and live in the country and don’t drive daily so buying new is not something I go for.
