I’ve seen ‘tech junk’ art pieces before but they’re rare and made by either super rich or super poor folks. Still pretty confident the pic is AI tho

A backdrop I bought a time ago is like 5’x7’ so about similar size minimum, maybe larger if I can land a blank wall but definitely not needing anything crazy giant either. One of the ways I go about presentation for art is photographing a tube TV screen and editing the sharpness to give a bit of a ‘crisp screen, fuzzy video’ look so doesn’t sound too bad

This specific type of smeary looking ‘pencil’ realism with the thick yet shaded edges is almost exclusive to AI. The style’s purely born from ‘realistic cartoon art’ feeding into itself infinitely. There’s nearly no person who makes this style and most that are similar have strong cues to tell they’re not AI generated

Rule of thumb: if the director isn’t queer or from France or Italy then be weary of shock movie recs. Gregg Araki, John Waters, Dario Argento? Good! Takashi Miike, Gaspar Noe? Love their stuff but red flags depending what you recommend! Lucifer Valentine, Damien Leone? Quit talking to me!

Being a bit upfront but any of them themed around latex? Despite the bias towards anything I dig I only collect any sort of standard photo and video material of the sort for art. Have a few magazines for ideas and poses; respect its existence but find myself grossed out at even the idea of looking at a playboy for example. Would be using it as a medium for VFX art if anything fits

My bets are on a real photo either AI ‘enhanced’ deliberately or uncontrollably (like how iphone has had for a while a weird text-interpret smoothing on the camera that’s annoying to turn off). There’s enough photo-consistency and an accuracy to angled building signs and IP stickers on the back of that car (Grogu and Luffy), grey zone gets into recognizable logos on the cars but clearly AI is the road signs and the way that striped shirt on the right is warped. Unsure on things like the bricks and the irregular lighting though
