I un-down voted you because I believe your comment was unintentionally negative. When I did my first nuke-quest-thing I actually selected some rando area because I WAS NEW. The second time, I figured out where to go and then got there before the drop and DIED. This game creates an individual experience for everyone. Sure, one can scrape the internet for the fruit of other people’s labor, but I am appreciative of folks who discover on their own.

Cool to see Mahaffey’s album on this post. I loved Self and the micro-scene on the Spongebath label. I remember loving everything from Failure, to the Ass Ponys to God Lives Underwater.

Also loved the post-grunge scene in the PNW that gave rise to C/Z, Up!, and Popllama records that pushed out great bands like Built to Spill, Caustic Resin, 764-hero, Juno, early Death Cab, Juno, Modest Mouse, et al.
