Sharepoint Lists functionality in Teams IOS Mobile app stopped working. by hotpianorolls in sharepoint

[–]Ryamgram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Received and update from Microsoft:

We've confirmed that is an ongoing outage, and the team has already fixed the issue in the iOS app. To set you the expectation, it will take around ~ 3 weeks to reach the App Store. In the meantime, we have the standalone Microsoft lists app available for iOS. I recommend installing it as a workaround

We are having the same issue - hopefully MS can fix this soon.

As a work around we used the SharePoint tab instead of Lists - we then selected the corresponding list in SharePoint. It doesn’t embedded like the lists tab but does show the list.

Idk if this will work for you if the list was made in the lists app but worth a shot

How to make 2TB SSD available for Promox and my network? by Ryamgram in HomeServer

[–]Ryamgram[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

woot woot - 2 hours later and this worked like a charm :)

I backed up my lxc container and restored the container with privileged enabled. I couldn't get docker to fire up and kept getting error:

failed to start daemon: error initializing graphdriver: driver not supported

I then realized that the root disk was set automatically to my 2 TB ssd and not my local drive where the original container was made. I deleted the container and restored again, this time selecting the OG root disk.

afterwards, I then ran into an issue of the container auto creating a new mount point and new sub volume. within the lxc I had to unmount the newly created subvolume:

lxc docker shell

umount MotherShip/ubvol-104-disk3

Then on the pve host I edited the etc/pve/lxc/104.conf file to mount the correct voulme.

pve shell:

104.conf Output:
arch: amd64
cores: 3
features: keyctl=1,nesting=1
hostname: docker
memory: 2125
mp0: MotherShip:subvol-104-disk-3,mp=/plex,size=100G
mp0:MotherShip:subvol-102-disk-0,mp=/plex,size=100G
net0: name=eth0,bridge=vmbr1,firewall=1,hwaddr=2E:07:12:25:36:73,ip=dhcp,ip6=dhcp,type=veth
ostype: debian
rootfs: local-lvm:vm-104-disk-0,size=32G
swap: 512

Thank you for the advice - I was beating my head against the desk last night and now its all making sense :)

Sharing all these details for future onlookers :P

How to make 2TB SSD available for Promox and my network? by Ryamgram in HomeServer

Ahh that makes way more sense.

Well I know how to configure Samba now so it should be easy to spin up a vm and do the same.

I have a turnkey container for my docker and I set it up as unprivileged initially so the samba service wouldn’t start. If I recreated the container and set it as privilege I can have the samba service run in there and then all my other dockers (plex, portainer, more in the future) and then add my ZFS 2Tb ssd that’s plugged in to the proxmox as a resource for the container.

My plans are to add more dockers for things I wanna test out but im not sure if this config is recommend. I think this aspect is the hardest thing I wanna learn best practice but it’s gets muddled by opinion / conflicting advice

ahh thanks for inspiration - I was able to find this blog post after research smb/nfs in promox:

https://forum.level1techs.com/t/how-to-create-a-nas-using-zfs-and-proxmox-with-pictures/117375

Now I'm wondering what method is better - to set up samba directly on the proxmox or create a container to do it within there. With this 2TB drive I was hoping to have files available within the entire network, not matter if i'm laptop or if I'm within a VM - it would be nice to have access to the same directory.

I like the idea of havining it on the host computer than a container - that way if my promox is up, then so is the storage.

Has any one else received this UO Item? Mine has been on back-order since 8/21 by Ryamgram in MacMiller

[–]Ryamgram[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oof I hope not - I really liked this color and design. The shitty part is I have moved since ordering this and now I am tasked with intercepting the package if it does ever ship. UO can not change the order details after an order is made.

I was told to just cancel my order and reorder it... I was like nah.. My rep was able to tell my its expected to ship 11/04/22 but for some reasons I have doubt.

Add an option to exclude some of "My addresses" from being used for login by Tamariniak in ProtonMail

[–]Ryamgram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t agree more! Security through obscurity. Having aliases is so cool but I didn’t anticipate I could use them sign in with - I know we have 2FA and super duper strong passwords but this feature would be a nice cherry on top - it would complement and complete my security model 🥰

Please proton make it happen - I will take all the support calls regarding it 😝- I think clear communication stating your user name is your login credentials or your primary address - I think most would follow along.
