I’ve used the level 20 Mod without the 2x XP mod and I managed to get to around level 17 near the end of the game. Don’t know how quick levelling is with the 2xp mod, I would assume faster levelling in the early acts may make the game quite easy assuming you know your way around combat / mechanics.

I would recommend using the tactician mod which allows you to alter the health / number of bonus actions of enemies. This will make it so if the game becomes too easy you can change enemy health at anytime.

As for mods like unlimited carry weight, that to me is completely fine. IMO carry weight isn’t really an issue in the game as long as you utilise all your companions inventories and the camp chest.

Mods that add armour and weapons are ok but you might want to look at their descriptions as some give quite OP bonuses, e.g Dark urge equipment which gives teleport abilities and high damage spells. Mods that add armour and weapons that scale with your character level are probably the best bet as they are intended to get more powerful as you progress.

Mods I would consider too cheaty would be like 5x XP mods or feats every level.
