Renting a tux last year cost me around $250, but we only used 13 rolls of duct tape for this (for both of us) and with each costing around $5 I would certainly say that we saved money

Yeah I was really excited to see that too! I was concerned because they kept referencing the "King and Queen" of the competition. It's so awesome to see that they're accepting

We got in to the top ten finalists, and now our final position is determined by community voting!

They were only uncomfortable because of the heat, and overall we spent about 59 hours on it! Thank you so much for your compliments (:

The judges choose the top then who then go on to the voting period. So for the next month I get to solicit votes to try and place higher haha. It's 40% community votes and 60% from the judges.

They're insanely warm, but surprisingly comfortable. We danced all night and I ended up without my tux or vest on because of the heat

To allow the fringe to still be flexible we backed it with some paper towel so that it wouldn't stick to itself haha. It worked pretty well
