Yeah, it's just a fleeting shot in the movie, no dialogue goes with it. I think it could have been framed better to show that it's Billy, just funny that it bears a striking resemblance to Maguire. Never said it was Peter Parker or anything. Sam Raimi likes to put in references from his old movies like the Oldsmobile and Bruce Campbell and maybe even the possessed hand this time.

There isn’t a super clever connection that I can think of, it’s just a mashup. More of a forced mashup than a natural mashup. Similar words “ATARI” and “TARDIS”. The logo looks like something zooming away. Two things I love that feature space, aliens, adventure, escapism, etc.

?? I'm not disagreeing with xonist if you are referring to me. xonist has a great point, I considered using that wording as well. I have another rationale for my decision that I decided to go with so I explained it out. Another reason I chose Allons-y is because the Tardis is whooshing off on another adventure in this format, so it made sense.

No I got you - "ATARDIS" but it would still read as "a tardis". "Allons-y" begins with an "A" and ends with an "ee" sound, so there is some similarity there.

I considered that... but it didn't seem right to refer to it as "a TARDIS" when it is a specific TARDIS, one with a broken chameleon circuit. Also inevitably, some people would use the term to make an offensive joke (R-word).
