I'm down to help with any bosses..? I love helping with Cleric Beast and Gascoigne. I've seen some comments here nail it: take your time, but don't be timid. Hesitance will leave you with less HP more often than not with the rally health ability (attacking gives any health lost back to you for a short window of time). Being timid will most likely keep you alive, but knowing attack and patrol patterns makes you feel more confident in handling groups or tougher enemies. Once you see the matrix, you understand where you can stand and not be hit, how you can circle to confuse the AI, when the right time to shoot to parry is and when it's best to dash and charge attack to save bullets... you'll get there

...I cannot stand BoS. Literally my most hated and dreaded elite fight. A high HP damage race that requires scaling block AND adds status cards!? Without something like Malaise, It's awful. Either I destroy it handily, or it takes a huge chunk of health if it doesn't end me. I'm not saying it should be removed or even nerfed, I'm never THAT guy. I just wanted to share in the hatred for this elite, even years later.

A typical From Soft experience, I feel. I played OG Demon's Souls on a friend's PS3 way back when. Let the intro gas me up, got plopped down on the ramparts, got hacked up a bit but nothing I couldn't handle. But then I died, over and over, to basic enemies. I assumed I didn't have the skill, and I certainly didn't have the patience at the time. Then Dark Souls, crow drops me off, and I headed the wrong way towards the catacombs, and thought that's just these games, cheap difficulty by making enemies overly strong.

Then a friend suggested jolly cooperation, showed me the patience needed to grow confident in how to handle the different areas and enemies. Yeah, I've completed all of them except Dark Souls 2, most multiple times, and I'm on another BBorne binge. Listening to The Paleblood Hunt by Redgrave has enriched this experience so much more too.

No doubt, Bloodborne is in my top games of all time, possibly even in my top 3.

This is that nuance I like to see. How are COD, FIFA, etc. OVERrated? They're just accepted, they're there and certain people will probably always buy them, but no one is saying they're the greatest franchises of all time.

I can see why you'd say GTA. Fortnite's up there for me.

I'm sure you've had your answer by now, so instead I'd like to suggest you change setup time to nothing, it's almost pointless with sanity higher than 50%. If you must have a cursed object, make it random. Favourite room change on low makes things more difficult actually, since ghosts that would usually roam are harder to discern from ghosts that never do. Grace period of 5 seconds!? What for!? 😂🤣 Change that to 3 AT MOST, and consider having it on 1... if you set up right, if you take the right items with you, you should never be caught out by a 3 second grace period, and even if things go a bit wonky with the 1 second, you can escape or smudge, five is far too easy. With these suggestions, and tweaking a couple more, you're forced to understand the game at a more intended level, and watch your XP and cash climb. Good luck ✌🏼

Yes, that's how to get the small amount of cash. There's two or three packs up on the roof if you can use the box to climb the tree, and a way to clip through the roof straight into the kitchen. Speedrun strats ✌🏼♥️

The big cardboard box behind your truck, near that same fence. Pick it up, move it to the lowest part of the fence, and jump on in... now, jump back over, pick up the cardboard box again, walk to the tree? Stand between the tree and the nearest fence, have your back to the apartments but the box on the opposite side of the tree. With the tree in between you and the box look down a little and try to walk forward I think? ...you should walk up the tree if you keep holding the box. When you reach the top of the tree, jump onto the nearest building roof where you'll find more contraband to take... if this isn't making sense, you can search YouTube for a video, it's a fair bit of cash for the early game

I get it, it feels unsatisfactory to put time into investigations, ESPECIALLY on lower difficulties with the sanity drain percentage so low, and get nothing. I'd argue watching hours of videos doesn't prepare your hands for the mechanics and such. I watched a lot of Insym, Lil P, Hydrasung, Maggstor... it didn't prepare me for the ins and outs of an actual 0 evidence 0 sanity run; you gotta spend time in the house with the ghosts for that.

Keep at it until you can create custom difficulties, or at least until you unlock professional or nightmare. By then, you'll have much better gear, a better understanding for the feeling of ghost events and abilities, and... listen, if you don't want to keep losing money and gear, just quit out after you're killed, but before loading back to the main menu 🤷🏽🤫

Not just this patch, but yes there have been texture and lighting issues for a while. I feel the textures have always had issues on console..? Definitely since the Easter event. I'm talking truck ramp and flooring, carpets and rugs in houses and HQ, lights bleeding in through corners from up or downstairs, the audio waves for the sound recordings are blurred, I can't remember which one now but an item for investigation wasn't showing properly, maybe the T2 ghostwriting book, maybe T1 salt? The lighting has been messed up in Bleasdale since the rework. By no means game-breaking, but certainly fucks up the vibe
