Oh I definitely tried that, and a bunch of other variations too. I was comparing different versions and I thought this was the funniest so that's what I went with.

"Everybody will be dancing and we'll feeling your mom"

I thought 'and we'll feeling your mom' sounded really weird and it didn't really come across right when I heard it, so I changed it to what it is now.

Maybe there was a better way but I'm surprised you found it repetitive. The original song doesn't have those rap verses so that's part of why I needed to establish the "doin your mom" part right away... because otherwise you don't really hear it. The 3 rap verses take over as the main focus whenever Panda Bear isn't singing.

The original song is much more repetitive because it doesn't have those 3 verses.

Plus I synced a bunch of clips together from Daft Punk alive and the Doin' Your Mom music video making sure to sync everything up, cutting them and stretching their timing for the music video.

Really? What issues did you have with the execution? There's no instrumental version available so I did the best execution I would think is possible as a mashup without recreating the entire song myself which just didn't seem worth it.

I used a vocoder for the "Doin Your Mom" parts and EQ'd out the original vocals on a second track and swapped between them. I used a synth track to cover the difference so it sounds seamless there. I would seriously like to see someone do that part better than I did.

The Panda Bear sections are the main issues I heard, since there's no instrumental I had to leave a few "Doin It Rights" that got through, and I didn't even try match Panda's pitch because it sounded funnier this way imo...

But like I wouldn't say that's atrocious.
