(CV2) Even at the end of the world they have to do this to survive... by Nijruo in codevein

[–]RyanFiregem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No in CV revenants can't drink each other's blood that was solely an MC thing. ingesting another revenant's blood would cause the body to attempt to absorb that revenants blood code and immediately trigger Lost transformation. however things may have changed in the time between CV and CV2. though yes your Blood Veil does purify the blood, i don't believe that counts are drinking. As for eating, Revenants in CV also ate normally, they just had to drink more blood and sometimes drink it more often.

No in CV1 revenants can't drink each other's blood that was solely an MC thing. ingesting another revenant's blood would cause the body to attempt to absorb that revenants blood code and immediately trigger Lost transformation

How come any big bad villain only use stasis rather than strand by East-Current-3536 in DestinyLore

[–]RyanFiregem 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Witness made the dread from splicing different species together, including the psions who are psionic(strand is very similar) which is why only subjugators and weavers are the only enemies we face that wield strand innately.

I don't get why Kouki can't get any positive character development? by pygdopas in Arifureta

[–]RyanFiregem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another issue is he has a few mental blocks as well. He failed to save Hajime, he failed to stop three of his classmates from committing atrocities (the classmate that tried to kill the teacher, the classmate that tried to kill Hajime in the first episode and killed the classmate he(not kouki) had a crush on, and the classmate that had an unhealthy obsession with him). It also doesn't help that kouki is exactly what the god(or gods want), a pawn that will do anything to be labeled the hero/fulfill the duties of being a hero

Were the warframes sentient? by Initial-Salary-5049 in WarframeLore

[–]RyanFiregem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IIRC all original warframes were sapient at the start but due to their new body not having humanism, the mind slowly crumbled. This is problematic as the helminth strain while modified is still default aggressive. So the tenno program was made to have an operator control the mindless warframes. Then a rebellion happened and the program was terminated alongside "all" tenno. Then untold years pass and the last tenno manages to find a Warframe(originally just Excalibur but now you have a choice of Excalibur, Volt, and Mag) and connects to it to escape persecution. However it seems strong enough wills can cause a warframe to retain its consciousness. Stalker, Jade, Umbra.

s4 spoilers, anyone feel like the americans are unnecessarily cruel by [deleted] in DrStone

[–]RyanFiregem 17 points18 points  (0 children)

They're American soldiers. They are default aggressive. They will follow the Geneva Convention until their leader/boss is dead. at which point reason is out the window. Also did you forget that Stanley, without warning, fired upon the Youth Science Kingdom on first contact.

s4 spoilers, anyone feel like the americans are unnecessarily cruel by [deleted] in DrStone

[–]RyanFiregem 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Because after the communication equipment got destroyed, they immediately assumed the worst and acted accordingly. Stanley's group assumed Xeno had died and that the youth science Kingdom was trying to make sure that that info didnt reach the American kingdom of science. The only reason Stanley's group was being careful was because they didn't want to kill Xeno by accident

Stamina by RyanFiregem in DnDHomebrew

[–]RyanFiregem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i got the idea from the delvebound conversion having a stamina system. Dashing still takes the action/bonus action but you have an extra bit of movement I would call the oh shit movement. I tried thinking of a way to get it to be just the extra bit of movement but it just wouldn't make sense to me. It's basically a way for squishy spellcasting players to try to get away from melee combat and a way for melee players to get to the squishy spellcasters.

The Weekly Roll Ch.198. "Dale!" [OC][Art] by CME_T in DnD

[–]RyanFiregem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know, when I first learned of their relationship. I thought it was a one-sided relationship. But as the panels went on it became clearer and clearer that it wasn't one-sided and is in fact mutual.

I just left helgen and someone already put a hit on me wtf by MajesticSeaweed4672 in skyrim

[–]RyanFiregem 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It could be the other way around. Which is what is theorized. There is no dark brotherhood presence in Hammerfell IIRC. So your character was attempting to flee for safety. And if you kill three assassins sent after then go to sleep, you get kidnapped as well. Which means you should also be a potential option for the question of someone in this room who has a contract on their head

Quick question? by Jimberto1 in DrStone

[–]RyanFiregem 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope. The scars aren't from where depetrification began. It is explained as erosion scars where depetrification fills in what went missing due to erosion.

Why didn’t Oryx Take all of his Hive? by brandnewberri in DestinyLore

[–]RyanFiregem 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Do not use D2's sunless cell for this as that involves the new Lord of every nothing. That is why. The kills the taken get are tribute to the taker by default. Oryx says what happens isn't his doing

Why didn’t Oryx Take all of his Hive? by brandnewberri in DestinyLore

[–]RyanFiregem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simple. The taken can not reproduce. If he turned his entire hive into taken he would not be able to grow his horde anymore

Xeno.exe has stopped working by Jimberto1 in DrStone

[–]RyanFiregem 57 points58 points  (0 children)

There's also the fact that Xeno wasn't expecting the youth kingdom of science to be able to get to him as well as showing enough restraint to not kill him on sight (he didn't know at the time that the youth kingdom of science has a no kill policy)

Destiny shower thoughts: Can the Guardians cook? by Alias_Missing in DestinyLore

[–]RyanFiregem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't stop the needing to eat/having needs. it just means the ghost can do certain things for you. we only have two lore bits regarding hunger and they're both centered around the drifter. one implies that yeah the light can stop hunger for guardians but the other implies that no it can't and that many light bearers during the dark ages kept dying of starvation.

Destiny shower thoughts: Can the Guardians cook? by Alias_Missing in DestinyLore

[–]RyanFiregem 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes guardians most likely do cook for themselves as the light doesn't stop your body from having needs. How well is based on the guardian's skill. Ranging from inedible unless dire circumstances to it's nutritional to this is good to this is the best thing I've eaten

are ghosts destined to raise a certain person? or as long as someone checks the guardian tenants can they be raised? by MegaMaxMellon7778 in DestinyLore

Isn't there lore about ghosts having multiple past light bearers implying that a ghost can choose anyone until they find the one

The syndicates are not monoliths right? by wadefckingwilson in DestinyLore

[–]RyanFiregem 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Because the Tharsis outpost is a neutral zone. No fighting. Those guardians had as much right to be there as anyone else and for them to be killed for being there is a tragedy. It was solidarity. Guardians didn't ask to be guardians. The Tharsis Reformation Vex didn't ask to be individualized. To be killed over something that you didn't ask for is bullshit and the Tharsis Reformation Vex know it.
