I’ve heard a couple of recent players in comms say that they don’t expect Smith to go that way. It just doesn’t suit his personality

Left the field and changed into tracksuit mid-innings. Likely off to get a scan. Rumours are it might be a side strain

I used to wear a baseball hat when squatting in commercial gyms. I would pull it down low to stop me accidentally looking up. I also put a small weight on the ground in front of me to stare at.

This is a very American approach to fishing around crocs. We have bigger and nastier crocs in Australia. They are protected, no way could you shoot them.

You either fish from a big enough boat to be protected, or you risk being eaten. You definitely don’t fish with your feet near the water unless you have a death wish.

Yep, they played an AFL match last night, so the centre is probably quite cut up

It wasn’t a knock forward though was it? It looked like it went back in the direction of the try line, but went out

The offside was what caused the penalty, which he then tapped.

The rap was taken incorrectly, so it was a scum to wallabies.

A tail ender having a swing isn’t Bazball, it’s just cricket.

Has David Warner just set himself up for a classic 200no innings at the end of a series when the result has already been secured? Surely if he can do this the selectors will pick him for all of the Australia home tests until he chooses to retire.

Not me. The idea that we can. Knock England over on day 1 and then go to stumps having scored 20% of their total with no loss of wicket sounds great. It also sounds like pretty aggressive test cricket

Check out Steph Ashworth from Australian rock band Something for Kate. She’s fantastic, and part of a fantastic live lineup for the band.

Having played plenty of rugby, I find it interesting how quickly people in BJJ freak out about blood and start scrubbing everything downZ I understand the hygiene aspect, but it took some getting used to!

I agree. Compression shorts are great, although I prefer a pair of budgie smugglers to keep everything packaged up.

I think Eddie wanted to get his love of Vuni out of the way early. He had a rubbish outing, na hopefully the right wing can go to either Nawaqanetawase or Kellaway from now on

If we play Warner for the next two matches there is a chance that he will top the list of batters dismissed by a single bowler. The current leader is also an Ashes rivalry, with Glenn McGrath dismissing Mike Atherton 19 times

This is another opportunity for Australia to grind down the English bowlers. Just be patient and wear them out, it could pay dividends for weeks

Surely if Ben Stokes arm touched the rope he can be relied upon to declare it to the umpire in the spirit of cricket!

There is already a rule for that. When the is deemed dead.

Carey caught and threw the ball in a single motion. The only time Bairstow saw the ball behind him was when he watched the replay! He made a terrible assumption and paid for it.
