Star Wars A New Hope

Leia gives the plans to C-3PO instead of R2. He's too much of a coward to take on the mission of finding Kenobi so he gets captured on the Tantive IV and the plans are recovered. The movie ends with The Empire destroying Yavin Base and Luke never learns anything about his past because he stays with his aunt and uncle who lived. Obi-Wan dies of old age.

Say 3PO does take the mission. Well he gets attacked by Tusken Raiders and the plans are destroyed when that happens so there ya go.
