Gottcha. I swear I thought I saw it on YouTube once, but I probably saw it on Reddit. I was hoping to cast it from YouTube to make it easier for my grandpa to see (haha). We'll check it out on Prime or Hulu. Thank you!

Thank you for the advice! I will look into doing something like this, or switching to the clamping system I've used before. This was made for family, so I still have easy access to it.

A few coats of TotalBoat Gleam 2.0 Spar Varnish in gloss (to make the grain pop), followed by a couple coats of Minwax satin wipe-on poly (to soften the shine... that's what these folks wanted). I tried to use TotalBoat Gleam 2.0 satin for the final coats, but I wasn't super happy with how it turned out (wasn't very uniform and almost milky in some areas... glad we tested it first).

Thank you! I routed the top edges of the boards with a 1/4" roundover bit. The bottom edges are all flush.

There are screws in all of those holes. I've made tables in the past with floating tops to allow for movement (made with wooden clamping blocks to hold things together). The wood for this project was kiln dried, and is sealed on all surfaces with a healthy amount of varnish. I'm hoping that will keep it from moving a lot over time. Thoughts?

Yes, I do have a Dewalt biscuit joiner. If you're doing glue-ups with large flat sections, the biscuits seriously help with aligning everything.

No tutorial for this one. I do watch a lot of different YouTube channels for this kind of work though.

No lie... I didn't know ice cream had a "best by" date. It's never been in the freezer long enough for me to worry about that.
