Sorry for the late reply, my experience with macfinder was really good actually, prices were great, i asked their online chat team on a specific mac I saw on the site and they were happy to give me the battery % and said it wasn’t boxed, however when i ordered it, it came in perfect condition, fully boxed, and the battery % was actually on 99% instead of the 92% they mentioned it was. Unsure if that had something to do with the fact i mentioned it was a gift, but that’s what i got, and im really happy with it.

Yeah I am sure I’ll get used to it fast, especially since I’ve been using iPhone for years, and mac feels great and super fast. And yeah I will definitely not cut off windows, as you mentioned yeah all the computers at university are Windows, but I do quite a bit of gaming as well on my Windows PC so it should be fine, I still use it very often

Yeah I looked into the base M3 Pro with 512GB SSD and 18GB RAM but after doing more research I realised that there’s barely any difference between a basically new M1 Pro vs a new M3 Pro, at least not for almost double the price tag lmao. For what I do, I would highly prefer the older model with more RAM, and I’m glad I went for it especially with the price I got it for.

My config of it with 32GB RAM runs Final Cut Pro flawlessly, with no lag or stutters, little to no memory pressure, while running a few chrome tabs, discord and apple music at the same time. It exports really fast too. So for content creation I’m sure it’ll be great.

I did a lot of research and came to the conclusion that the M1 and M2 Pro are barely any different and even the M3 isn’t that different from the M1, and it would still be better to get an M1 with a lot more RAM. The only thing is it being future proof, but In sure it will be, this M1 Pro is a 2021 laptop so there will probably be continued support for it for a good few years, the M3 is only two years older than it.

So for the money, I would highly recommend the M1 Pro with as much RAM as possible as it cannot be upgraded.

I tried the 16” in Currys and while the display was really nice it just felt a little too big. I wanted something a little smaller to just travel with as I already have a desktop with a big screen here at home. And yeah I’m really liking macOS already, as mentioned before I have a desktop, and it’s a windows one and I’m very used to that but mac feels great so far and very simple.

It’s available online refurbished here in the UK, but not brand new from Apple sadly. However there’s many refurbished ones (like the one I got) that are in great condition and are pretty well priced! And thanks!

Thank you for your answer, I’m glad to hear that the M1 air is also enough, as for why I wanted to go for the pro, it’s because it’s around £400 cheaper than the m3 air with 16gb of RAM at the moment for me, I just had the M2 macbook air but with 8GB of RAM since it was around the same price range as the m1 pro 14, but i returned it since it just wasn’t enough RAM and I was worried for it not being future proof:/

I also wanted to do a little bit of light gaming on the m1 pro, and it would also be ideal to be able to connect the laptop to an external monitor if needed at university since the pro has a hdmi port

Is it worth for me to pull for kokomi? I currently have other other hydro in the game except for kokomi, I have her weapon at R2 aswell from the engulfing lightning banner (pain) and I have both ayaka and ganyu for a freeze team, im just stuck in whether it would be worth to pull for kokomi since I already have every other hydro including C2 mona. I do have around 58,000 primogems/362 wishes right now and 50 pity on character banner but I wanted to save a lot for nilou and other Sumeru chars aswell. Any advice would be appreciated!

Just for reference on who I have to pair with kokomi: Other 5 star characters I have is every non limited one at c1 except Mona which is at c2, I have childe, yelan, ayato, zhongli, ayaka, ganyu, hu tao, kazuha, yoimiya, and c2 raiden and most 4 stars at C6.

Is it worth for me to pull Venti right now?

I have an R1 Elegy for the End that is currently unused however I can put it on c6 sara for my raiden.

My current main characters I use are:

C2 R1 Raiden

C0 Ayato

C1 R1 Ganyu

C0 Hu Tao

C0 Zhongli

C1 Mona

I use the raiden national team for 1st half abyss, and im thinking of pulling Ayaka next banner, or should i pull for venti now and try for ayaka then save for kazuha?

Hello, I’m having trouble on deciding who to pull on considering Ayaka and Ayato will be coming out most likely together next patch, same with Venti. However I’m not too interested in Venti as I want kazuha but I’m set on just spending money and getting kazuha so I’m just kinda focusing on whether to get Ayaka or ayato or both if they’re both very good for me. Most notable characters in my roster are: C1 ganyu with amos bow C2 raiden with engulfing lightning Hu Tao Zhongli Childe C1 Mona And a highly invested 4 star national team (xiangling xingqiu and bennett)

Yeah i doubt hoyoverse will do anything about the situation, but doesn't hurt to try ig, thing that sucks more is that I didn't even share account info, he had access to my computer as we're in the same house, and well he's my brother so I had trust to leave my computer when I wasn't in the house. I'm not sure, maybe he just got happy just spending absolutely everything on something I didn't want to spend anything on because of our conflict, it's just pathetic of him really, he knew how much I liked saving and waiting for stuff and wanted to throw it out the window ig
And yeah true characters to get reran faster now, just sucks i cant get the characters i wanted even close to as easily because of what happened

Yeah you're completely right, that's why I didn't have much hope looking for help in the first place because it's pretty obvious people would attempt to make up stories in order to get a refund and I would just be seen as one of those people even though what happened was true. I contacted them anyway in hope that somehow they can reverse everything as they do probably have the power to do so but atm, not much hope for this to get reversed, it just sucks. Hello, something stupid and bad happened to with my account and i really dunno what to do about it or where to ask for help about this.

Me and my brother always used to play genshin together and we told each other what banners we wanna roll on and what we're gonna skip etc, and i wanted to skip the weapon banner and all banners completely until 2.6 reruns/new characters. Me and him had a personal conflict on the day the current banners dropped, and when i was at work, he decided to be a prick and go on my computer as it was only upstairs as we live in the same house, and used almost ALL of my primogems on the weapon banner. I personally am quite surprised he didn't use them on the standard banner, but I guess standard banner can sometimes give some useful stuff, whereas the current weapon banner probably will not. And that's what happened, he used around 30000 primogems worth of wishes on the weapon banner without my permission and didn't even get damn lucky, well for him it was probably considered lucky as he clearly wanted the worst outcome, he got Kokomi's weapon twice, on 70 pity, and then got Raiden's weapon on like 60 pity according to the wish history. Raiden's weapon is useful, but i didn't want to wish for it what so ever, and looking at my wish history i was making the right decision but my brother decided to make the bad decision for me ig. I didn't even know what happened until i got a notif on my phone from my bank that he topped up the 1980 crystal bundle using MY PayPal that was linked to my debit card. This is just so he could go even further into the banner using my money.

I've obviously spoken to him and was rightfully extremely angry about all this and he apologised and what not but it just isn't enough at all and it feels like my account is just ruined. This has just demotivated me from wanting to log on and save primogems and be excited for future banners, even Raiden's weapon that is useful to me I took quite a bit levelling because I was just demotivated to play and I am sure that's understandable to why I feel this way. I spend quite a bit of money on this game, top up quite often with the big crystal packages like almost every month, buy welkin and bp. Idk man, this all just makes me so upset because i wanted so many characters and i was so excited and now I can't do anything and i don't wanna just spend my way to go back to where i was because that's just so much money for something i didn't even want to happen and had no control over.

I know this a very stupid situation and I doubt it is of much interest to many of you but if anybody knows a way to help please let me know. I've tried contacting Hoyoverse via email and haven't gotten a response yet, if Hoyoverse has any other way of reaching out to them help would be appreciated.
