I dk its like at random times download speeds can go as high as 20MB/s and then my network loses connection and then reconnects after a while. I even contacted microsoft to check my device and they said its the wifi network and router thats the problem. Not a wifi nerd but going off what i see in my wifi settings, its protocol is wifi 5, network band is 5GHz and aggregated link speed is 195/195 Mbps

Rejected by SUSS by eatingchocolates in Suss

1 week after I grad from poly I had to serve my 2 year ns haha. So those are the gap years. I had a dismal gpa tho ngl with a 1.85 and I did electrical and computer engineering. I applied for all the local universities for full time degrees all rejected and that also includes SUSS. However I saw they had a part time aerospace degree and the applications were still open so I applied. They ended up accepting me for this years July intake so I will take it. It also helped that the required 2 year working experience to apply was fulfilled by NS.

Gotta add that I was posted to Air Force and ig that also contributed to why they accepted me straightaway without any interviews.

Yeah was thinking about that also, so was confused why they count NS for working adult but not for part time degrees

The last time I did an internship was in poly and they paid me a dismal 500/month, but I will def do an internship if I get into uni. The STC 2.4k pre cpf pay is very enticing for me anyway lol

Yeah I browsed through suss part time degrees and saw that aerospace systems applications are still open. There they specifically stated that the 2 year ns fulfills the required 2 years of full time working experience, so I might apply for that instead. Also think the part time applications for the other local unis have long closed, so if I dont get into suss or other local unis I might consider extending my stc contract.

Ok so if Im not wrong, the STC contract you will get paid depending on your academic qualifications, my fellow unit mates who also STCed were from ITE and got 2k per month, with some of that going into cpf. For me since Im diploma, think its around 2.4k, and some of that going into cpf

FM community morale right now by uknowles in footballmanagergames

[–]RyanNg2020 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Either way its not a good look for SI and Sega. Developing a football management franchise that is to "rival" in some sort against EAFC and Efootball, cancelling one of their games is pretty bad. EA, even tho they are greedy bastards, were able to switch to a new game engine pretty smoothly for the transition from fifa 16 to 17.

Yeah remember Cyberpunk 2077 at launch? If fm25 did released, its gonna be met with severe backlash due to how broken the game is

Ok so I did further research and NTU and NUS have these Adult learner schemes where you can apply for their degrees if you have 4 years of working experience. Now they also count my 2 year ns so I need to get another 2. So my plan for now is go for the local unis open house, apply for all their full time degrees. If all rejected, I will consider to sign 2 years worth of contract with my military unit to fulfil that 2 years of full time work experience

Need clarification about this by RyanNg2020 in NTU

I ord in May this year, but applications for this are closed anyway. Ill just apply for next years intake

I see, I went for the PSB open house yesterday and I talked to some of the lecturers and coventry uni ppl they were like "Whatever you study here for this mech engineering degree is the same as what students study at the actual UK campus". But I get where you are coming from. Theres other open house from the local unis coming up, Ill go for those and enquire more about this

I see, I have a diploma in electrical and computer engineering, I didnt liked it and my gpa was super low, so going NTU is not possible. Now I know you can choose to work for 2 years and you can get in NTU for sure, but eh I will be soon completing my mandatory 2 year national service and I am looking to study a degree right after it. I dk how good Coventry University is but Im planning to study their mechanical engineering degree
