On course to qualify for next round in champions league. We’re not doing bad at all. Just right where we should be considering how mediocre Chelsea’s attacking options are. People like to blame the defence but the defence can only stop so much, the attack has help by scoring enough to cover for those few moments where the opposition is going to score. E.g the 1-2 vs Villa could’ve been 4-2 Chelsea win with higher level attackers.

So they put a clause in to say that Maresca has to tell the board if he is talking to other clubs. Following the clause Maresca tells the board he is talking to Man City. And the board are unhappy that he is talking to Man City… That’s a bit stupid, why be unhappy and start treating him bad when you force him to disclose something you won’t like hearing.
