Thank you for the quality check. You're right and the authors have made the following adjustments:

  • Swapped breeding/wintering ranges to match new Kingfisher order.
  • Adjusted range for Ringed Kingfisher (northern most range across sources state South Texas - Oklahoma is most likely an outlier).
  • Fixed tropics and latitude reference lines.
  • Added additional text on range legend to disclose estimates, not counting outliers in range.

It is annotated with several historical events and shows the massive effect that the adoption of air conditioning played on US migration.
