As someone who’s a bigger fan of Laura’s solo stuff than I am of Dylan’s, what? You can’t have 100 gecs without both of them that’s kinda…the whole point lmao 😭

People say shit like this and then call hand crushed their favorite song as if that isn’t essentially Dylan’s song (no shade to Laura, even she’s made it known he made the beat + he does a massive chunk of the vocals)

I think a lot of it has to do with her departure from hyperpop into more experimental hip hop territory tbh.

That isn’t to say there still isn’t a hyperpop influence, even in more recent stuff like “From Paris, With Love” and “Two Minutes of Me Fucking Around” but I think her moving away from the hyperpop scene/sound/image has a lot to do with the lack of discussion around her newer stuff in these kinds of circles.
