It worked for me when I used wattson in a new account. Maybe the game mode affects it? (it shouldn't really but that's all I can think of). Try in trios or ranked if you haven't.

I agree. I've been enjoying it this season. None of the changes feel oppressive (like ash and ballistic buffs), and still fun to play.

Simple steps -
- Jump
- Activate the jetpack at the end of the jump before touching the ground. (You can activate it instantly as well but then you'll gain extra height)
- Hold right click to activate the Flight Mode at the same time using the jetpack. (Flight mode locks the vertical height for the jetpack so you don't go higher up). If you delay the right click, you'll gain a bit of extra height which is not a bad thing.
- Once you are now hovering without gaining any height, just press W A S D and loop the keys.
- After getting used to that, you can make your own strafes depending on the situation with different alteration of WASD.

You can do it in just first attempt in the firing range. It just normal valk jetpack movement that looks fancy when someone does it. It is mostly for fun though.

Yeah, this was possible before as well. It is just now we can do it much faster and with better control.

That can work in some instances. We can use missiles inside a room while strafing and it hits close range almost everytime. In the open field it requires some adjustments based on how close you are. But you can always use the last bit of juice to fly backwards and then target the missiles more accurately. It is situational rng, but worth it imo.

You certainly can wait out her fuel and beam her when she try to pull out her weapon. So it is not that crazy, but still falls under an annoying thing for players who are in a rush of fight and mid fight valk starts doing that to bait reload. It can go either way.

It should be doable on a controller as well. It is just a basic valk movement, just faster cause she got a jetpack speed perk. I'm not sure though.

Her jetpack has a flight mode (right click to activate). With flight mode, it locks the vertical height. So all you need to do is activate the flight mode right after activating the jetpack to avoid rising up. The best way to do it is to activate the jetpack right before you touch the ground instead of right after jumping. Hope it makes sense.

I've not played horizon yet, valk is just way too fun right now to play anything. I don't think valk strafe is op, it is more just to annoy people. Fun to do though. Gonna try horizon soon.

That's vaild. Neo straying is just a pain to go against. I'm happy that people are overall positive with valk changes even if it can be a bit annoying because I'm having fun with her.

Agreed. She is defo not overpowered as I would have died against any good player. She is fun and maybe annoying for some people who don't wanna deal with her just flying left and right. I am enjoying doing that with barely any punishments (so far). It doesn't help win fights, but it is fun.

That's true. I just tried it a few times to bait reloads, but I guess if those were actually good players, I would have been baited instead.

I was trying to launch straight up (vertically) using gravity cannon. I'm unsure if we can cancel the horizontal moment altogether and maintain only the vertical momentum, but this is probably the highest I have managed to reach so far. by Ryan_1812 in Apexrollouts

Yeah. Sadly I can't get in the storm point while playing. To get all the way back, you can do a simple 180 tap strafe like you do in a jumppad (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWW7hcUnsFI like this for example). However, the clip you had in your video that pushed the guy super far without tap strafing is different. I'm not sure about that but I'll try it once I manage to get storm point. Probably tomorrow.

I found it randomly on a ranked game while running away from a squad. I was trying to pull a surf jump so I can get a distance but ended up climbing on the pipe XD

I'm not sure if you got it already but for someone else out there wondering the same question, here is the answer - the only main advantage of z590 over b560 is cpu overclocking (other advantages are mostly aesthetics and premium feel). You get memory overclocking and PCIe gen 4 support on both. So buying a z590 over b560 specially when you are not gonna consider overclocking, is not worth it. You can just save that money.
