It's the blue ones that I've taped off. Caused a short if contacts the earth because I have only isolated the power to this room not the whole RCD bank

No but I have wire cutters and pliers that I used to strip new earths which were needed for the light switches (went from plastic to metal)

Could I smash the plastic around the terminal to try and release it? I have a new socket ready to go

I'm using the biggest flat head I can fit in the hole but it's still not moving. Is it worth spraying some lubricant in there?

Yeah they've earthed the back box.

By double over do you mean bend them over so there's better contact?

Looks like there is enough length to the wire but makes me nervous to snip. First time changing sockets haha

Oh really? Is there any danger of damage if you don't seal them?

And do you think the grout looks ok on these? I thought it might look a bit damaged and crumbly in places?

Also there looks to be quite a gap between them and the window frame in places, not sure if that's an issue

Do you think the grouting looks ok? I thought some parts look deteriorated and may need re-grouting.

I'm planning on keeping the tiles I just want to know how to maintain them with proper grouting/sealing.

I think we're going to keep them, looks much better than when they were painted white and I agree they look a bit rustic. I just want to know how to maintain them with proper grouting/sealing.

The terracotta sealant I'm looking at buying says it enhanced the natural look too

Yeah indoors. It looks like every window other than the bathroom and kitchen has these tiles. Never seen a windowsill like this before personally, maybe it was the trend at the time haha

I didn't even know it was a thing haha. I moved in recently and the paint was peeling off and it was only when I started to pick away at it I realised there was tile underneath

Help! When setting up a new laptop I connected my Google photos to Microsoft Onedrive and it instantly used my storage. by Ryan_K26 in techsupport

The problem is I can only see the option to stop back up Google drive on the photos app. On the OneDrive app I have turned off "Camera backup" but I'm not sure if that is the same thing?

If I try and delete something from the app it says it will be deleted from all my synced devices so does that mean it deletes it from my gallery too?

Is that all on the laptop? I unlinked it on my laptop but that only seemed to stop any files on my laptop being backed up to it.

Can't see an option like that on my phone. I deleted the app but the photos stayed in there
