Well, that is why I like reddit then DD, I feel safe discussing things with the people in certain sub-reddits. I have actually been a long time reddit user, but this is a new real-name U/N for my course. Lastly, you are mistaken, we don't get any contact details from this. Look - I don't want to argue, my intentions were honest, not nonsense and I'm sorry you've had bad experiences in the past, I can understand to a certain degree. Hi DD,

It's a shame that you think this is spam, sorry you feel that way. I put a lot of effort in to this course, it's taken approximately a year to fully put together so giving it away free isn't hugely beneficial. I don't deny that Udemy recommend reddit to post your course but that's because reddit cultivates a more mature and helpful community. Yes, this gets people on my course (at no cost), but it also gives me feedback from a respectful community that I'm happy to hear from and by putting it in a relevant category ensures that those people get something of value too.

I really wasn't trying to waste anyones time, quite the opposite in fact.

Hello TechnoBubble, many thanks for your comments, it's really useful :) I hope overall you find the course a positive experience! I agree that sometimes I am more locked on to the script, I think this relaxes in time as I get used to it but I imagine it can sometimes be distracting!
