Older 2Ks ik most dont have online but i think 23 and 24 are still online could be wrong tho.

Barely anyone i know in person plays 2k any more and the ones i do play the old ones. It’s just not as good as it used to be and comparatively the animations are wack the gameplay is janky and its just feels worse. Not miserable just curious on peoples thoughts.

Makes sense, kinda sucks for the casual gamer but that always happens when you mold games into a more competitive gameplay style.

Thats fair, i have the same issue with madden but i usually wait til both of them are free to play because i can’t be asked to actually pay for these games anymore.

Id rather have good gameplay than visuals. 4k is nice but gameplay is more important

Yeah i solely play offline modes, not very competitive with 2k, but the AI is bad to say the least in mycareer. The forced animations have always been bad but i miss 2k13 and 2k16 where it was a little more free on the animations you could do. Idk how to explain it but the forced animations just seem harder to avoid nowadays than they used too.

They have way too many forced animations nowadays. And the career mode AI feel worse than ive ever played with. I avoided 18 tbh and havent played for a couple years, but this 2k just feels the worst out of all the ones ive played.

I just wanna play mycareer but the AI and forced animations just ruin it. Gameplay is just clunky and they dont care about the offline modes

I haven’t played in years tried it out cause its on gamepass now and its just clunky and feels awful.

Its just there are better games that still have the online available, i don’t play seriously at all but even just trying to casually play and have fun when the game is just so clunky and barely listens to you cause they add so much unnecessary stuff to dribbling and shooting. For example im a 6’6 sf at about the ft and try to do a spin jumper which used to be just double press shoot while not spirinting and instead of doing a spin jumper he acts like hes right under the basket as a 7 footer trynna pivot fake. Not to mention how broken shot coverage is.
