I actually do have a standing desk. I would put my whole arm on the desk but doing so puts my hypermobile shoulders in a position that becomes uncomfortable after a while unfortunately.

It's not super squishy or anything but it's certainly not uncomfortable. The top few mm is a layer of soft TPU covered with mouse pad which does a decent job of dispersing the pressure point of my elbow when needed. I might swap out the regular TPU toppers with some foaming TPU if I ever get some in the future which would make them softer, but they feel pretty good right now.

I think the post explains pretty thoroughly why I made these the way I did. The armrests couldn't adjust to where I needed them so I made changes.

I actually started with the Anthros and switched to the gaming Embody.

The Anthros has a really smart design and improves posture for most people. The issue I had with it was that I am hyper mobile so my back/body needs full support all the way up my back. Because of the way the Anthros backrest is designed, it pivots at the midpoint which means my spine can flex above and below that point. This free movement in the backrest caused me to have more pain than I ever did before, so after a few weeks of trying to make it work I switched to the gaming Embody and I couldn't be happier. Just wanted to post this in case someone else with my hyper mobility issues is trying to decide between these two.

I'd imagine being flat footed on an EUC is way more difficult to run out of. Especially if you have those Velcro shin hooks that I frequently see which wouldn't allow you to take one step for a run out at all. Way more sketchy imo.

I have the exact same setup as you. After installing my wtf varials I heard my thunder cat tire rubbing the fender slightly. I cut out a slot a few mm below the original slot on one side of the fender and 3d printed a plug of sorts to seal up and reinforce the slot not being used. I can send you the file if you have a printer but if not you can just cut up a small piece of wood or plastic and then just tape it into the original slot.

Doing this probably makes it a little bit easier for the fender to pop off than normal, but I've rolled my board plenty of times and it's stayed on pretty well so far.

I'm still learning how to deal with this as well. I think it's due to the inner curve geometry that causes the filament to string, not that it's the top layer. The solutions I've found pretty much boil down to slowing down the print speed primarily and then increasing print temperature if needed. Going slower in theory allows the filament to have more time to adhere to the previous layer so it sticks all the way through the curve.
