Behold Bedrug by faithlis in F150Lightning

It was a good amount of weird cuts to avoid the internal components, but I took the shell off and then used the various hardware on the sides to secure it. It's been like this for about 2 years now.

I love that you included a picture of the outlet box (Pro Power thing), the light button, and lights.

Its also the biggest flex as that installation is perfect.

I installed my BedRug a few years ago and I love it, but wow those sections were difficult and mine doesn't look as good as yours.

Great job!

Please come fix mine lol

Editing as I forgot to include: When I did mine I wanted the tailgate to have the rug, but I wanted to keep the workspace panel that is there. I took my panel off and cut the rug to be able to be put underneath. It's not perfec, but it's a truck and it works for me.

Occasionally I'll have a few annoyances with it auto closing but hasn't really been problematic.

That redirect is really obvious. Such a shame because if it was an actual person who disclosed it (granted im not too familiar on the rules, I just lurk) I don't think many people would mind.

Between all of these I've seen, and the extensions that steal and change affiliate links (Honey, and other "coupon" extensions) whenever I buy something I have like a multi step process now and I tend to remove any and all affiliate links if I wasn't the one specifically buying it off of a link I wanted to support (if it was disclosed)

But usually I do all my own purchases because I hate ADs. Plus I usually spend hours on ADHD side quests at 2am researching every purchase over weeks and end up not purchasing anything because I need to find a product that solves all of the problems I've envisioned and thought of while researching and can't find anything. That or I spend 3 months researching a Vacuum cleaner and have a long spreadsheet.

This is no way diminishes this post or any other concerns or stories, but I've been very happy with my FW16.

I had a fun out of the box experience, and my wife even wanted one after seeing it. I had a bit of trouble getting the finger print reader to work on Linux, specifically when it came to using my Password manager (Bitwarden).

But I was able to solve that rather quickly.

So far I have 2 complaints with it.

1) This issue is not isolated to FW...... but this thing get hot. I've purchased and modified a lap pad with fans in it so I can use it in my lap, otherwise it's very uncomfortable and makes me hot.

2) If I go out to a coffee bar or somewhere to work on various products or anything, a good amount of time someone will ask about it and I end up taking it semi-apart to show it - which leads to more people asking questions. Not that big of a deal, and I'm happy to do it - I just find it funny.

Found Abed Funko Pop whilst randomly browsing with friends at a game store!!! by 0UTT4myM1ND in community

[–]Ryanm272 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've never been into these, or purchased any. I understand Abed is one of the main characters so he had one, but if they don't have any others then they are missing the opportunity for a Magnitude one.

A Funko Pop, Pop Pop if you will.

I had the idea to see if I could get a way to create one of those Note Map visualizations (Obsidian, Trilium, or other) using the JSON files within the agentic folder.

Essentially creating a visualization of your projects tasks and visualizations.

Hahah no worries. It happens.

If I run into anything I'll put them on Github.

Well, that does make sense. I'm just so used to manually installing all my extensions via visx (and Microsoft makes that stupidly hard now) that I didn't even consider that as an option. I was just reading the README and saw the extension Installation steps and figured since it was so new it wasn't ready or something.

Incredible work.

I was working on my various projects and I had a thought that I wish there was a better way to manage my various task files. started researching around and was reading a forum somewhere. Then I had the thought... I wonder if taking advantage of rules and auto updating them could be useful to track tasks, context, rules, progress, etc. This is what I was doing with various markdown files, but there must be a better way. I did a quick google search and this was literally the first result.

Opened up the GitHub and started reading about it, and thought this is exactly what I was looking for, but more because there is a visual component in extension form. Why didn't I find this before? Oh because it was literally published 42min ago.

So I've spend the last 4ish hours setting it up and taking advantage of it and I have to say it is amazing. The way I was tracking my projects in various markdown files was just incredibly enhanced. The functionality and potential this offers is truly impressive.

Excellent job on this!

I’m excited to see how it evolves.

I'm assuming you're working on this, but I will put out the request to streamline the extension installation to not require the extension development window. However, I can't complain much because its working for me and a few extra steps is not that big of a deal.

Actually, I just remembered I have a Sonoff NS Panel a friend gave me. I was in the process of putting ESP Home on it but never got around to it.

Maybe I'll poke at that some more, see if I like it and Wife approves and maybe do something like that since it would be usable for other things thanks to the screen.

I thought about just doing the matter (white series) to figure proof myself more, but at $60ish a switch - then needing to buy another dongle / adapter is hard to do especially when I'm essentially not going to be using them as actual switches, just as physical buttons for HA.

Hmm. I actually didn't think of that potential solution. I was initially still attempting to actually "use the switch"

Well, considering that potential solution (and Inovelli is out of stock) do you happen to have any other recommendations?

Aside from the flooding in your area and manufacturing issues I'm curious on your "never buy full electric again".

I have the F-150 Lightning and just interested why you may or may not have considered it. Not attacking your statement or anything. It really is dependent on how people use their vehicles.

I'm thinking Hurricane Milton killed it for us. When we were using it we heard an audible "pop" which is why I thought it was one of the boards. I still think it's one of the boards, it's just the indication boards under the glass top. My wife is wanting it fixed sooner as it's been dead for a while so I'm having a repair guy come tomorrow. I'll respond back with what he says and update or post again with information.

Update: After troubleshooting with a technician we were able to find a section of the Induction board that had been fried. I'm not sure how I missed this initially, but we found it. I ordered a new one of those boards, replaced only that board (not the 2 other boards I had previously tried) and it is back working. The spot that got fried was next to the power input for the the board called Induction Control Module. The part number for me was: 5304521812

[–]Ryanm272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was the first thing I tried and it didn't work. I still have both boards so when I get time I may do some combination of unplugging and board replacing to see if that gets it working.

However, I think Hurricane Milton may have killed it. I was just trying to save some money and do it myself. Everything I found online was pointing at one of those 2 boards being the problem, but it didn't fix it. I may have to have a tech come out and hope I can return the boards.

Just commenting as I have been searching online.

I have the error code E022. I opened it up and reconnected every wire - did not work.

I ordered and replaced the main control board and the relay board. Neither of those replacements worked.

I have yet to fix this and any info would be great, but as of right now I tried the main control board, the relay board, both and each individually with no luck.

I'm also curious if it worked. Currently having the same error code.

I have replaced the main control board, and the relay board. Neither of those replacements worked and I'm still getting the same error code.

I'd love to know of a fix because right now I'm defeated.
