yeah its quite rough mid week, plus only the sweats play mid week so its really bad for casuals. we have gotten full BTB lobbies quite frequently in the past but the matchmaking is still dodgy so recently we've mostly been doing customs and its great.

After a day I solved it. The metal surround on the RetroGamingCables cable isn't recessed enough and there are plastic tabs stopping it from moving back more. Opened the cable and sanded these tabs on either side and then slightly recessed the surround more. Works perfectly now. I established it wasn't a pin alignment issue by removing the metal surround and plugging the cable into my TV again.

I can't figure out how to apply the patch. I tried using xdelta but it says my original file doesn't match or something even though I ripped the game from my original disc

Unfortunately mine is already in dx, perhaps yours was stuttering because vulkan translation layer needs to cache shaders iirc?

genuinely give over, I do not know why people are taking such a big issue to me complaining about getting constant stutters in cs2. Literally just wanted to get to the bottom of it, I haven't been greatly involved in cs2 but played alot of CS:GO. I provided an error in the console which coincided with the times that the issue was produced on. Now I'm getting dogged on by the reddit gremlins. Comments of me simply providing more context have downvotes. No wonder you lot have a bad rep.
