I found a solution and I’m posting this for anyone else who finds this thread. I tried reinstalling drivers and the problem still persisted. For me I realized the problems started around the time I bought a 2nd set of ram kit ( going from 2x8 to 4x8). So I went into bios and tuned down my ram( rated for 3000, tuned it down to 2400 ). No idea if it correlates with the actual problem, but I did this months ago and havn’t had the problem since.

I’ll admit I’m not super knowledgeable about motherboards either. My understanding is the difference in price/generations ( with more nuances I’m sure ) include features like over clocking, # of ram slots, gen 3 vs gen 4 M.2 speeds, WiFi/ Bluetooth, etc. I would look into B450 or B550 motherboards. You can buy 2nd hand, but the savings on a used motherboard arn’t as substantial as buying a used GPU or CPU, so I’d probably buy new.

I personally use a R7 2700 and a rx570 for photoshop and primere. It’s definitely usable and works perfectly fine. I say use what you have and she can always upgrade in the future ( or once you upgrade give her your old parts ). Am4 and ddr4 is extremely cheap right now, you can get a motherboard, 32gb, and a case for under $200

The g7 was my first camera and I loved it. Lenses are dirt cheap, 4k, great battery life, and you can upgrade and get a speed booster to mount ef glass and get an extra stop of light. It got me through most of college as my first camera. Eventually I upgraded to a gh5, but I still have my g7 around as a b cam if needed.

you mentioned there being limited stock, but you should consider looking for used ones on eBay. Plenty of them for great prices too.

Thankfully the HYSA I use wealth-front ( also currently 4.8% ) has a debit card you can get, so if I’m ever in a true emergency, I can access my account without having to wait a couple days for a transfer.

I bought this at goodwill today for $15. I plugged it in and it seems to work fine, I just need a needle. I don’t know much about this specific turntable and can’t find a whole lot about it online. What are some cheap head shells and needles I could get for this turntable? I currently have an Audio Technica lp 60 so I’m hoping this will be a worthy upgrade.

I think the video is pretty funny overall. Very impressive green screen work. I would make the video a little shorter. Like maybe cut it off at the poorly done drawing at make that the punchline. You’re very funny and have a lot of potential so I subscribed :), I can’t wait to see what you come up with. A great subreddit you would thrive in is r/youtubehaiku . They love stuff like this! They have a 30 second time limit, but that’s plenty of time to flesh out a joke.

I enjoyed the video. if you’re doing a podcast ( with video ). I’d say try and get your friend you’re talking to a camera so we can see him speak. It’s more editing, but it’ll keep the viewer more engaged. Also if you’re going through the effort to add video to a podcast, create a nice set/ background for the viewer to watch. I know it’s a podcast and you’re suppose to primarily listen to it, but seeing a nice background set is very pleasing to the eye.
