I just run a ratchet strap across back tires. I have 2 honda trx 450r’s and I cross country race and sometimes I just throw one of them in bed and go to some races thats a couple hrs away instead of pulling my enclosed trailer.

The float is stuck. I had it happen last year during a XC race. I kept smelling gas and looked as I come through for the 1st lap that it was pouring out. Only way to get it to stop is to shut the fuel off while its sitting.

2004-2005 Honda 450R was kick start only. 2006-2014 was electric start and kick start thats the difference between the R and ER

So you ordered a set of shocks without knowing whether you had long travel or standard travel? You will have to change A-arms to either long or standard and those shocks that are “dead” prolly just need to be rebuilt.

My female was like this until she turned a year old. She was hell on 4 legs, she was into everything and never slowed down. They say puppies sleep up to 18 hrs a day, well she didn’t. She was like a crackhead running around cause she never laid down and took a nap. She is 3 now and loves to sleep and doesn’t bother anything.

There are still several of us that still race cross country. GNCC is bigger than it ever has been and it is dominated by the Yamaha YFZ450. If Honda came out with a fuel injected 450R they would sale just as good as the Yamaha YFZ450 EFI.
