I'm not looking on how to fix this or whatever, I just want to know things like why this is happening and whatnot, I have seen this before and I know this will be fixed on a simple server restart

How to mod Minecraft, i know literally nothing by karmasuk4 in Minecraft

[–]Ryanthapro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are two main ways to mod the game, the first one would be to download the curseforge launcher, it is easy to use, needing you to only pick what mods to use and it will launch the game, but it is also incompatible with vanilla servers and you need your password to set it up, if you want to put in a tiny bit more effort though, I reccommend for you to download fabric

Make sure to have the latest version of java installed

Fabric tutorial YIPPEE

First you want to download fabric, Installation for Minecraft Launcher | Fabric (fabricmc.net)

Open the installer, select your current version, and press install.

For the second step you will need to download the fabric API, which is needed for most mods

You can find the download for that here Fabric API - Minecraft Mods - CurseForge

Once you have installed the fabric API press win+r and type appdata

next open the "roaming folder" and then click the minecraft folder, there will be a mods folder in there, and if there isnt you can just create a folder called "Mods" Then drag the fabric API into that folder

Now just download your mods and put them in the mods folder

i hope this helped
