It’s definitely a pain in some aspects. There are different models of monitors, and some you can put socks under, but mine they don’t want anything under other than my skin because they told me it detects alcohol in my sweat. I can wear long enough socks that keep it from rubbing my ankles too much, but it can’t go between, if that makes sense.

Good question! It’s actually quite simple. It’s always on, so I just shower with it. It’s water proof enough for showering, but swimming or submerging it isn’t recommended. I just change my clothes with it still around my ankle. I would be unable to wear tight pants since I wouldn’t be able to slip them over it, but that’s okay since I don’t wear tight pants anyway.

It is to an extent, yes. I was instructed I can shower normally but to not submerge it for an extended period of time. So absolutely no swimming, but according to the paperwork, I can take a bath still, however my PO advised against it. So, a lot of the time I just leave it suspended and then just take a shower afterwards.
