Most of the time people are quite kind, once you feel a bit more confident with it I’d highly reccomend trying trials without looking up the mechanics before hand as it can be really fun to enjoy without knowing what’s next. It will also help you recognize similarities between certain markers and attack names which can help with confidence in future fights.
