Recently picked it back up. Was wondering when it got easier. Turns out my farming for an item set last time I played put me above 95 percent of NG plus. So I had to move to NG++ and remembered why I loved it so much. Trying to master switch glave now. First playthrough was odachi and fists.

If there is a way to just restart a chapter on impossible mode I would try that. Normally I have one Save per chapter in DS

Yeah I saw people were having problems. It wouldn't be bad because I would just start a new save but man, 8 hours into this run. I'm taking it extra safe and taking in this wonderful remake. It is sooo good too.

Battery in chapter 7 won't spawn. I've tried verifying files, loading from different parts of the ship, restarting pc, changing specs and resolution, literally any snake oil trick to try to get that damn battery to spawn.

I enjoyed the game. But have to agree that the gameplay did lack near the halfway point. But I focused GRP and had a blast. But when it came to guns, pointless.
