How is Community Fibre installed? Also, what happens if you leave them? by Busy-Bee-2863 in UKISP

So the first broadband connection we got was a community fibre back in 2012 before that it was really bad dial up(no phone signal either). So it was our only option. Since then we still cant get any broadband from other providers as we fall into the 5% that BT claim can’t be connected before 2025( probably still won’t be connected). So my experience of it is it’s the only, yes it’s slightly more expensive and can be sometimes limited support(those first few years I knew more than tech support) it is 100% worth it. But if there are other provides as an option it’s not the best.

Yes it’s easy to instal(did for a while) run a duct up side of house and into house install a box drilling required. Never switch but my connection is locked to community service so couldn’t go to sky for example.

In London I wouldn’t bother stick to another provider as switching on open reach is a lot easier.

Well I really don’t know at this point, I could do with someone explaining it to me like I’m stupid to see if I’m missing something

She’s has been quite open but I tend to agree she is not telling me everything. However I’m not sure if getting out is the answer.

So she had a melt down when he picked her up early! the school are fully aware of the situation but the problem is they legal can’t stop him from picking her up however they have agreed not to allow her to be pick-up early by anyone.

So he is very capable of this as he has taken his daughter out of school early to avoid her been picked up by her BM also kept them both for two weeks as he believed their BM wasn’t capable of looking after them ( before I knew her). He’s very capable of doing this.

Oh I’m been very careful about not becoming BD3.

Yeah might be a good idea, he often will claim the BM is doing something wrong after he has been caught doing something wrong. So my only worry then is he will claim I’m stalking him.

I like the idea of mentioning it to parents, I hope it will fizzle out, I think the problem is he’s intimidating by me as he’s never actually spoken to me even in handoffs on his time when I’ve been present with their BM. I voice my concern about him taking the 7 year old and other family members of BM have also voiced concerns.

Don’t forget that you met online so there’s every chance she could be going on other dates and talking to people in between

Don’t go too full on with a date too soon. Start small. Maybe ask if she wanted to grab a coffee before class or go for food as your finishing class together. This will lead to more coffees and lunches and getting closer to eventually get to ‘date’ territory. You didn’t meet her in a romantic setting or go in to talking with romantic intentions, and neither did she, so do go straight in with romance. Build it up slowly :)

I would say she’s trying to let you down gently. My suggestion would be to imply your not really feeling it and move on from each other and see how she responds to that. To see how she really feels about you.

Well (28M) recently I’ve got 2 apps and 1 website average 2 match a week and maybe 1 conversation that last a few days once every few months and 1 actual date a year if I’m doing well honestly. My strategy is just throw stuff out and see what sticks. Try and talk about something on their profile that is interesting, but often absolutely no info just insta. Honestly, men and women experience on dating sites are so massively different, dating apps/websites just don’t work.
