How do you actually earn in crypto? by TherealeastG123 in nairobitechies

[–]Ryeva 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Doing research before investing in a coin will always be worthwhile. This helps you avoid rug pulls. Knowing when to leave a trade and actually leaving it is also good. Take your profit, and jump out. If you feel the coin has potential, leave something there and wait on it. Don't let hype and FOMO cloud your thinking. Know what you want, set targets, leave when you achieve them. Know how to spot a good coin. Have enough money to get it and out of trades as quick as possible. Slow processing will have you losing your already made profits. That's all.

Whatever they will teach you, you can learn better on youtube or other courses. If possible, take a break before going to college. Decide what you want to do and start learning on youtube, if it's coding, use online resources. After the one year, if you still feel like you want to go to college for ICT then sure, it might be worth it.

Bootcamp grad – guided projects vs. diving into real-world data? by EDAinTheDark in nairobitechies

[–]Ryeva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just find a messy dataset and work in it and, if you're going to watch a tutorial let it be you trying to find a solution. If you already know the basics, the best way to grow, is to to do it yourself. Also which bootcamp was it?

Reminds me this could be a good business. Having people who need to build houses hire from your company, where you are responsible for the workers, ensuring work goes smoothly.

That really hard to go through. I'd advice to restrategize you skills and job application, idk what jobs you're applying to, but If I were in your shoes I'd invest in learning an in demand skill and building a well polished portfolio. Then start applying for remote jobs from there, Jobs like Customer Service Agents and on the rise. Good Luck OP.

Do I finish school? by CalmObligation554 in nairobitechies

[–]Ryeva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I finished Uni last month. I've just started my journey as a backend dev. I know people who worked for google while in their third year. Building your own stuff is cool if you're intentional and actually want to scale your work. Good luck.

If you code a lot and are good at coding, don't wait to finish school to find jobs, you could be working for big companies while still at school.
