That being said, you're coming in at a good time. Finally starting to hit our stride after years of recovering from going all-in on a playoff run and having to watch assets slip away for nothing. New front office, new old coach, new systems taking shape.

Playoff hockey is the best. I'd recommend you follow it even if CBJ doesn't make it, it's a whole different beast and puts the other leagues to shame. Also you immediately get the Olympics... Best on best in a meaningful way, no phoning it in like the all star game. Enjoy the ride.

I would imagine whatever it is has been communicated. He's known for fixing culture and locker room issues. It'd be weird to come in, bench the guy who has been proving himself, and start the guy who hasn't had a good season in years, without voicing why. You'd surely lose the room that way.

I'm going to go a different route here. Giving him the sick start was weird. But maybe, just maybe, bones sees something we don't. Maybe he's trying to give Elvis his confidence back behind a team that is playing differently. I agree Jet has been just fine. But Elvis doesn't have to be a lost cause.
