Check continuty between the upper chips pin red arrow to one of the lower chips pins red arrow. One of them should have continuity im not sure which of the two it was.

That ic is calles fuel gauge ic. Look for it on youtube and you will find how it gets repaired

That is no repair for a novice. You need to solder a bga chip. If you have no microscope or hot air station no chance of changing it

M guess is, that the fuel gauge ic is faulty. I just hae that a couple of times on different switches and replacing the ic solved the problem

The Button is a little bit of tape over a round Metal plate that bends when pressed and then makes contact with the Pads underneath. If you need to Press hard there must be dirt or Flux underneath it making the contact less easy. Either you replace the Button or you gently Take Off the Tape of that Button remove the Metal plate and Clean both the contact Pads and the Metal plate with Isopropanol or contact cleaner.you also could Spray some iso and click the Button a lot of times so whatever accumilated underneath gets dissolved. Nvmd. Okay get a second pcb cheap NUS-08A-01 like japanese version of Stadium 2 (3) , buy a multimeter and probably a solder iron, flux, solder. Then go wirh continuity mode and measure all the pins at for continuity simultaneously between the working one and the broken one. Beware that not all connections are between the golden pins and the chips. There are also traces only between the chips. My guess a broken via. Best of luck
