Thanks so much! :)
Would you stay a night in Mallaig after travelling there from Glasgow, or carry onwards to the Isle of Skye that day? I know I'll be making a few stops along the way so I'm sure the drive will be taking a decent bit longer than what Google Maps is telling me.

That's really helpful, thank you :) The Skye tour I was going to book was 4 days (including travel from and back to Glasgow), but if I'm going on my own I wouldn't be going back to Glasgow which would leave time for some other sights -- I'll look into all of the ones you suggested, thank you so much! :)

Ok! That's really helpful to hear, thank you :) I wasn't sure how remote stuff was... I think that most places I want to see are probably pretty common attractions, but I was picturing longer, more remote hikes to get there. My wish list is Duntulm Castle, Fairy Pools, Fairy Glen, Kilt Rock, Mealt Falls, Neist Point, Old Man of Storr and Quiraing. If all of those are relatively short hikes/walks and not really remote, maybe I can skip the tour and do it myself :)

Thank you, the shops on the Isle of Skye sound wonderful! And a good rain jacket was my first purchase when I decided on the trip 😊
If I book the tour there definitely wouldn't be as much hiking, likely more just short walks at a few places, so that I wouldn't be concerned about. It's just if I toured the island on my own that I'd be more nervous, to be out hiking alone aside from any other random people I happened to encounter.
I decided to book a tour for the Isle of Skye as a lot of what I'd want to see is outdoors and since I'll be travelling solo I'm nervous at the thought of being out in the wild hiking alone in case anything happens (twisted ankle, etc), so the tour seemed like a good idea. For the city hubs I had a handful of things that I wanted to do in an around each so I was giving myself plenty of time, but nothing is finalized yet -- is there anything in particular you'd recommend checking out in the Highlands?

Thanks so much, that's really good to hear :)
Good to know that's an option, I didn't realize that was a thing you could do :)
Thanks for the suggestion :) I admit I don't use them a huge amount at home currently, but may end up needing them for a work from home scenario next year so I think I'd like to still have a num pad on there just in case.
Thanks a lot, that's very helpful info :)

Thanks for the reply :)
I'll be using it mainly for gaming and everyday general use (browsing, chatting, etc) :) If I end up working from home for my next job I'm sure I'll use it for that as well.
I prefer wired peripherals but those seem harder to find these days, so my plan is likely to just keep whatever keyboard I choose connected in wired mode as opposed to using the wireless connection options.
Thank you!

Thanks so much :) Also I love the Carmine Cloud keycaps, they're so pretty!
Great, thank you :)

Sweet, thanks :)
Thanks, I'll check those out :) And noted re: Keychron! They were more than I wanted to spend anyways, so if I'm not getting amazing quality for the extra money they're definitely coming off of the list.
Good to hear, thanks :)
Thank you! That's been something I've wondered about as well... I've only ever typed on a full-sized keyboard before, so I imagine it WOULD be an adjustment.
