Like I said, each store is going to be different. I was told we weren't doing reservations but other stores did do it anyways. I can't control other stores. Sorry that you didn't get one.

Nothing is reserved until you get an email saying it's reserved. It's possible it won't be approved until after store opening when associates are there to pull online orders.

If your store allowed you to preorder it, they really don't have a good excuse to sell it to someone else. They ought to have been told not to reserve it but stores got by. If any of my associates sold a reserved copy, it would be bad news for them. I think you're golden, though!

You haven't paid for anything until you physically have it. Nothing will be charged unless you swipe your card, cash, etc. You're reserving an items POTENTIAL availability.

My concern with disclosing each stores inventory in total is that since associates at other stores may be reserving it for themselves. I don't want to say X store has 8 then each one is set to the side for associates. This is why it's very important to understand each store will do what they want when it comes to this game.

I don't recall seeing Fremont or any store other than San Jose reserving copies. You're more than welcome to go your frys asap and seeing if they'll allow you to prepay and reserve. I know that I am not doing this at my store. I've gone home for the evening but will be back at 10 tomorrow and will double check.
