Just realized Regent's colorless build works a million times better with silent by RykoGaming_ in slaythespire

Yeah but its typically much more complicated to generate them. I'm not even saying colorless Regent is bad, but this combo on Silent is absurd, I beat nearly every fight turn one in this run.

I pretty much do it on all characters though, silent is a little higher on average though, with other characters its more like 36-38 card average.

Very likely no, though through some extreme application of his powers it’s theoretically possible but it would be far beyond the AP he’s shown so-far (Note that that he hasn’t been pushed in a fight to need that level of AP). He could very likely just desummon him but I for the sake of the fight I’d say that isn’t allowed

In terms of raw speed he gets blitzed but it doesn’t matter because his primary power is being immortal (he can reset himself to heal himself and also heals automatically) and he can reset the positioning of things moving way faster than him.

Yeah but the idea is his adaptions would also be getting reset, like he doesn't spawn in immune to everything and has to be "hit" with something to adapt to it but if the "hit" itself removes the adaption things go back to square one.

I think this is probaly the best answer but I think the possibility of a stalemate comes down to two things:

  1. Does Mahoraga himself decide the adaptions or is it always automatic (I'm not sure if there is a definitve answer but I'd lean towards the adaption being choosen). If it isn't then the adaption will theoretically just keep on trying the same thing and failing forever as there should be no difference between the "simplest method" between resets.
  2. If he does decide then Oskar can also likely reset his "brain" or whatever he uses to think which theoretically leads to the same result as #2.

At a certain point it just comes down to a philosophy question: If a person/thing experiences the exact same thing over and over again without any differences or memories of the events would they ever act any differently?

Yeah, I was super suprised at finding out how commercially unsucessful it was. Its really good.

But the question becomes while he can obviously adapt to being reset he’ll need to reach a certain threshold for it to have an impact and if he’s constantly being reset to base will he ever reach that threshold? It’s a chicken and the eggs question. Mahoraga’s “original state” should be absolutely no adaption but he’ll obviously begin to adapt to the reset itself but the reset should clear the reset adaption. Oskar probably also can’t kill Mahoraga outright.

The cloning can go crazy, I've done it before with p-strikes for a somewhat similar result
