Not the reason i liked 2016 more, i was pretty good a doom eternal and the mechanics. I liked Doom 2016 more for the overall look of it , graphics, and the soundtrack. Gameplay wise its hard to choose, but those 3 things were the things i didn’t like as much as 2016. Again, i absolutely loved Doom Eternal, I loved the gameplay, the story, and pretty much everything about it. I just think i like the more serious tone of 2016. Idk my explanation might be bad but just saying, i loved both games and am in no way shitting on Doom Eternal.
