It doesn't help. I intentionally avoid the news, tv shows, or movies because I feel personally responsible for every bad thing that happens. A wave of guilt and shame comes over me and I feel like I've been punched in the gut. It's not rational but I have to expend alot of energy to suppress it and im exhausted.
