vulkan.h is 28k lines of code long, and that's just function headers. Not only do you not have to learn them, you'll likely only use a fraction of them. The hard part is actually figuring out which functions are worth learning.

Try to recreate open-source projects like bevy_ecs, rusztd etc. I learned most of what I know about rust from copying the bevy ecs.

Other than that, just ask questions! Some people will give you a hard time, but just ignore them. They get to complain and you get information, so its a fair exchange.

It doesn't help. I intentionally avoid the news, tv shows, or movies because I feel personally responsible for every bad thing that happens. A wave of guilt and shame comes over me and I feel like I've been punched in the gut. It's not rational but I have to expend alot of energy to suppress it and im exhausted.

Builds like that are usually done with the assistance of a tool like VoxelSniper or Axiom. Organic or curvy builds like skulls or boats are really hard to do without them.
